Comfort comes as standard in the A-Class. For example, with the hill-start assist: on a gradient it automatically prevents the vehicle from rolling back when it starts off. For relaxed driving there’s also the selective damping system working together with the parabolic axle and the electronically controlled power steering. The modified chassis, the wider track and the long wheelbase all add to the ride comfort of this car. And of course the engines play their part too, delivering the kind of performance that need fear no comparison.

Now parking is also very convenient: the optional active Parking Assist recognises when a parking space is large enough for the vehicle and automatically guides the A-Class into the proper position. All you need to do is step lightly on the gas pedal or brake. The system automatically turns the steering wheel, and in one or two movements your vehicle has been parked parallel to the direction of travel. And of course you stay in control during the entire process.
